I just downgraded my CSR before fee. Is there a no fee card to transfer to to keep points value? I have freedom, freedom unlimitted, saphire (reg), and an ink plus (which i was also going to cancel, fee is next month).

I want to transfer all mine and spouse points to my CSR as a precaution however what happens If I get shut down for no reason (I dont play any games)do I loose all my points? I usually try to keep half in mine and half in spouse as a precaution.

if you transfer from a CFU to A CSR the value is 2.25  cents per dollar, transferred to a CSP or a CIP is a value of 1.875. So if these transfers are hurting them than I don't think they could offer 2% back. The transfers that may hurt them are from the 5 points per dollar bonus categories on some cards in which case they could just turn those bonuses in 5% CB or SC. But the truth is going on par with everyone else is not a reason for customers to come to you

do the math. If for every dollar you spend you get 1.5 points and those points can be redeemed at a rate of 1.5 cents per point then For every dollar spent you end up with 2.25 cents back. 1 point = 1.5 cents .5 points = .75 cents 1.5+.75= 2.25 cents with a CSP 1 point = 1.25 cents .5 points = .625 cents 1.25 + .625 = 1.875

He wrote "They should do this, if they know what’s best for themselves."

As I wrote, their execs have long debated if this would be good or bad for them. Funny that he thinks he knows better than they do what they should do.
