Any advantages buying a product directly from Amazon over a product thats FBA?

 I asked this question earlier in the Amazon thread, curious to know if there really is any difference or any benefits down the road which will be covered for if I buy directly from Amazon vs FBA?

    It's a very common trend when Amazon drops their price the FBA sellers drops their price too to match Amazons price or even a few cents cheaper, now besides the pricing being a few pennies cheaper with FBA Amazon usually charges tax on the product while FBA sellers charge no tax for the same product.

   Curios to know what most of ddf does or wether there is really no difference between the two, and you will be given the same support from amazon as if there the original seller?
   Yes besides for the times when you want to use coupons/ credits to buy a product it has to be fulfilled and sold by Amazon.

  With regards to price match with credit cards buying with  FBA would qualify, is that correct?

I do the same thing, but make sure to put on a good CC.

Depending on what kind of inventory settings the seller has in place you could be getting the same exact item either way. If it’s commingled invetory Amazon will ship the one closest to you regardless of who actually owns the item. As far as support it should be the same either way.

I’ve noticed a difference where there’s an issue with the order in regards to comp or returns. (Not sure about a high priced item though)

Do you really think any customer will actually file taxes after his purchase if he paid no tax?(other then seeing where the product is being shipped to not much else to use to track someone down.)

If it's a business... Sure. The state looks at their books and asks for receipts of items purchased.

  That's not true as I myself have bought many times from fba  selleres and returned no problem within 30 to amazon.

Officially even Amazon products only have 30 days , and the same way a rep will let you with an Amazon product you can get them to let you with their 1 time only powers by a product which is fba as it's the same Amazon product as they're selling.

Ymmv goes very well with Amazon and the rep you get. Can't bring a ראיה from that one time.
