Signup to Southwest Airlines 'Rapid Rewards' using this link and get 8 points, thats 1/2 way to a reward ticket. Sign up for a credit card and earn another 8 points. Remember to sign up for the e-mails too, otherwise you get only 6 points at signup.

So isnt this worth it just for the 16 credits? $59 for a free RT ticket domestic? sounds pretty good to me.

Does anyone know when they charge the annual fee? Do they charge it in the first billing cycle?

If I have 15 credits with southwest airlines, is there a way I can get a 16th (free roundtrip) without actually flying, like maybe sign up for something? Because my credits will expire soon and I'm not planning on flying swa for awhile.
