So I guess I have to redispute it?

Obviously the bureaus accepted Verizons response as legit. You need some argument being stronger than your first.

Hey, guys. Remember a couple weeks ago I was trying to figure out why my score suddenly TANKED out of nowhere with no unusual or new kinds of use?

Well, now it just SHOT UP higher than ever. Look at this score history from Citi.

Thanks. But I am trying to understand it. I really haven't been doing anything different.

Maybe nothing really happened and it was just a glitch?

Rebucketing, some would say.

Maybe it has to do with this ^ ?

Can rebucketing temporarily drop your score?

Can someone more knowledgeable please chime in?

This isn't re-bucketing related but I will defer to the experts.

A glitch that happened with all bureaus? I saw a dive in my score from Citi, Amex, and Barclay. That's at least 2 of the 3 CBs.

Does seem odd. You can either forget about it or if you have CR's from before, during and after we can figure it out.

My credit score listed on Amex dropped by almost 30 points this month (high 700s to mid 700s). Can that solely be attributed to opening new accounts and closing others? I opened at least 4 cards within that timeframe.
Really strange - went back up 17 points this month. Not understanding the fluctuation but whatever.

just logged into credit karma to review my CR and noticed that my FAKO jumped about 40 points, didnt think much of it until i saw that all of my inquires on my TU have been removed. weird part is most of them are less than a year old. could it just be a glitch on CKs side?

I haven't read up on this area much, but why would there be a 40 point differential between my experian report provided by USAA and the free amex fico score?

The whole fico score seemed funny, that it changes every other mnth to higher numbers lower numbers! (seems like a trampoline),btw where is the fico based on(from)? the card which is giving you the score or on your whole spending (all your cc)?
When does the next year to check your CR start the year from when you chcked them or at the beg of the year (jan1)?

I wonder too. Also my credit karma scores are right in line with my real experian from USAA, while the fico by amex is way lower.
