For anyone interested, this is the most up to date list of for free FICO scores that I have.  If you have any additional sources, please share them.

Just checked my credit score using Capital One's Credit Wise-
Wondering why the employer shown is my old employer from 10 years ago. And I've obviously applied for cards since.

Credit Wise is not a FICO score.

Get a real copy of your TU report (paper copy directly from TU) and call to have all unnecessary personal information removed, including all employment information.  There doesn't need to be anything in that field, and they tend to hold on to outdated information.

Just received notice that as my Virgin America Elevate card issued by Comenity will be closed as VX terminates the Elevate program.

Will this adversely affect my credit score?

Difficult to say, since each credit report is different. You might see a small drop due to higher overall utilization of your credit.

If you pay balances in full it will not affect you, even if it did it'll be a few points for short period, i would not worry about it.

If both applications are on the same day the inquiries may be combined

if someone has a very short credit history a pull can hurt his score. I believe pulls make up 10 percent of your score.
