which one of you was this?

someone i know said he met someone who deals with me a lot but he couldnt remember his name. I figured it was a ddfer, so if it was one of us please be so kind as to reveal yourself.

CLUES:
1) Saw each other in la california

2) lives in israel

3) learns in the mir yeahiva.
