Reviving a really old thread. I have a document with Hebrew fonts that word is not recognizing. Highlighting and switching to a font word has is not helping. Any suggestions how-to convert it?
Do you know which font was used? What do you see when you select Arial as the font, or another font that has multiple character sets included within it?
@exgingi It says DavidD when I highlight it switching to Ariel or another font it just switches to other random winding type characters
Actually when I switch it to a font like Ariel it just turns into rectangles
That means that DavidD uses non-standard encoding. This might be a Dagesh font.
So any idea how to fix it?
If you have (or are able to get your hands on) Dagesh, you should be able to open it there and change. Otherwise let me do some research on this tomorrow.
This might be DavkaWriter rather than Dagesh (still looking further into it).
See if the attached will help.
Back to this old issue. I tried downloading these fonts. Interestingly enough wityh these fonts it switches it to hebrew letters but the wrong ones....
