Do you ever fly?
When you fly domestic you don't really need ID.
Rarely. But I remember reading on DDF that if you don't had drivers license sometimes a CC may do the job.
You don't need "citizen" ID, but you need to ID=identify yourself. In other words you don't need to proof citizenship, but you need to proof that you're Mr. Herman.Did somebody hack into ilherman's account?

You can technically fly domestic without id and you go through a different identity check
Rarely.
Seriously? You sure know a lot about miles and booking for someone who doesn't fly often.

I have a crazy hobby to these stuff. I travel here and there to MIA. Once a year to Israel, and once a year to Europe. With 2 kids its not easy to travel. At least with the kind of kids I have.
Who ever said I am an expert. I am a n00b.So can you help a n00b? When you flu domestic you don't need a passport, when you land in EWR you're at gate 132 and the gate for EWR-TLV is 138, you can head straight to that gate without going through any customs. Do you guys mean the customs right before boarding the flight?
Those with similar names to a bad guy get a redress # to be entered at time of booking. As long as you have valid ID you should be OK.
Me question is, if it is true that you can pass a domestic flight with a credit card he can just put a random name on the ticket and show a CC and when he is getting to EWR he is just taking the flight to TLV?
When you check in at LAX they will ask for your passport in order to print you (international) boarding pass.
You need your passport to board at EWR.And the CC isn't that simple. They will probably attempt to verify that its you or at least give a heavy secondary security check.
I can print out the BP at home. As long the name on the reservation is not on the do not fly list. Hence my question. How do the.y know who the pax REALLY is, if its true that I can pass with a CC.

You can't print BP without verifying passport info at a kiosk or with an agent.OK?
