The current lineup of dishwashers take much longer than the old ones and a normal cycle will not get as much as the old normal cycles when you are dealing with pots and pans.
No. That's my point - not that they don't exist, but if you're going to take the time to write the article, at least explain the basics of what's going on.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I paid less than $500 and have no issues with things not getting clean. And I'm not sure why cycle time is such an issue for people. The vast majority of the time I run it overnight. I guess I use it differently than many/most.

I never have room for my cholent pot since it's always after shabbos and there are too many other things. We end up letting it soak in the sink with soap and water and cleaning it by hand later. Not that it would fit on the top row anyway. How big is your dishwasher - or more likely how small is your cholent pot?
