For all you delta haters out there, delta upgraded me 3 days prior to my flight  to 1st class on a domestic flight on a mileage ticket, as much as you hate delta, that wont happen on other airlines...

No one will argue that Delta isn't great for upgrades.
But their First Class can't compare with Continental's First Class and the main thing is their miles just stink!

agreed, there miles do stink thats why the amex offer isnt as great as everyone thinks it is, but its nice to get upgraded on a mileage ticket. on my return flight delta cancelled my flight, i had them put me on united, and i convinced the red carpet club to let me in to the lounge. with my Co gold elite status..

CO will soon also upgrade elites on award tickets who have a CO credit card.

I'm 1-1 on CO upgrades and 1-1 for CO companion upgrades for the year, so far so good!
