I have both the reserve and the signature card for 3 months now. I got the bonus on both and dont feel the need to keep both and want to combine them. Is it too soon to do this?

Citi will be a hard pill to combine CL. Just let one go.

And Monday-Thursday as well, that doesn't mean it's the official policy or it's easy to do.

When does the anniversary night come? Is it before or after the statement with the AF?

I'm pretty sure the free night was issued after the AF was charged although I could be wrong because I know it was issued before my 2-night cert expired b/c I actually used all three nights in the same trip.

Hmmmm. I'm really trying to figure this out.

I converted an AA Plat card to this when the AF was due a few months ago and paid it then.

Now they just charged me another AF which I don't necessarily mind paying if I'll get the free night cert now. But it's not in the account yet. Statement closed a few days ago.

I'd call up HHonors and just ask them, but you should definitely get the next cert soon, although it might take Citi a couple weeks lag to get the info to Hilton (I know after I met the initial spend it took a couple weeks to get the first 2-night cert).

If that's a deal breaker don't get the Reserve card, just the one with free points and no AF.
