Another victim, the first police officer on the scene has passed
IME police are not normally near har nof.. How fast did they get there?
What is gained by trying to figure out who's at fault?Should we also try to point fingers for who's at fault for blood libels, the inquisition, the coassacks, and the holocaust?Esav soneh es yakov is a halacha and nothing's going to change that.
so anyone in the Shul was armed?
You are correct. Except that if there are preventable actions that inflame the situation, even they just inflame the situation a little bit, they should be discussed. -Not swept under the carpet. Chamira sakanta meissuarah. The question is where to draw the line. Even If Jews are just living peacefully and going about their lives, we are still in golus and they may still attack us in our holy sites. But should we visit their "holy" site and shtech them in the eye? The answer is obvious.
Wow? Personal story or a forward
Can we please for the sake of God stop fighting?Every time you feel like you have a good punchline to add to this conversation, close your eyes and say:לעילוי נשמת הקדושים I'll keep it to myself and not fight with a fellow Jew.
