Are you Twitter verified?

As you can see, no.

I have been mostly off Twitter since the week of Oct 7th. I rejoined since opening day but unfollowed almost anyone that isn't sports related or someone I know. but I'm still followed by the same people (AFAIK).

This tweet got virtually no response on Twitter. Now, not to get all arrogant or anything, none of my super hilarious genius tweets ever went crazy viral on Twitter, but this clearly has barely been seen by any of my followers, as the response would be similar to the DDF response. I'm not upset about it not "doing well", like I said, I'm basically done with Twitter, I just think it is interesting to see how they're clearly hiding certain accounts/content.

Not being active for 6+ months is a very simple explanation for limited views, all social media works like this

Oh, TIL Elon is a secret NK sympathizer. What else will 2024 throw at us?

I totally get that. But Twitter has an option to have your feed to be your follows only. My assumption is that it is also being hidden in that feed as well.

- Who said many of your followers are set to that option?
- Even if 100% of followers selected that option, why would you be showing in their feed over active tweeters?
- Maybe it's the hateful person you're quoting that is getting suppressed?

Regardless, I'm a bit surprised you're making any anecdotal observations based on literally one tweet after 6 months of inactivity.

The way it used be:
Home: Twitter's feed for you, based on your follows.
Following: a chronological timeline of *all* the tweets from your follows, and only your follows.

Now, even the supposedly chronological timeline is (heavily) curated.

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.
