It's up to each store on whether they want to honor a price mistake or not. And I don't get upset or angry if a company cancels it because I beleive that is 100% their prorogative, but it is useful to know for future mistakes if it's worth our time to order or not.
Please list based on experiance what stores do or do not honor price mistakes.
I'll start. Of course the size of the deal and how fast it can ship out makes a huge difference.
Walmart: Honors
Amazon: Mixed bag, but often does honor especially when it's Prime 1 or 2 day shipping. Also often succes for refunds via chat.
Home Depot: Usually cancels, but some have been honored, if you do in-store pickup and go right away can often get it.
Lowe's: Almost always cancels.
Target: Usually cancels, but sometimes can get it in-store. They do have regional clearance they honor.
Hollander Sleep: Honors.
Macy's: Usually cancels.
Matress Firm: Cancels.
Airlines: Almost always honor.
Hotels: Almost always honor.
Bloomingdales: Cancels
Tiger Direct: Cancels
Indochino: Cancels
Wayfair: Cancels
Ikea: Cancels
7 for all mankind: Cancels
eBay: Depends on seller.
Shutterfly: Honors
