<DELETED>This post violated our policy-DDF Moderation Team
now is this a real deletion or a joke?
So if DJT tweets that he won the election, there is a disclaimer but when Joe tweets that he won, all is fine.
If a race was not called yet , neither Trump or Joe can declare victory. If "Official sources may have not called the race (yet)" applies to one team, it applies to both.I thought you would agree with that.
...except the game isn't called. Not a single state has certified. The only thing that has happened is that the media have "called it." Too bad the "media calling the election" is not the standard by which we judge who will be the president of the united states.
Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
Again, a call does not a president make.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
For the purposes of our language, it does. Historically, when the various media organizations make the call, we then call the person president-elect. Mistakes have been made in the past, and calls have been changed. But for the purposes of the language that has always been used, Joe Biden is our president-elect.
AP dead or Obi dead?
While I agree Trump is behaving like a poorly behaved child, the Twitter overreach is far more concerning to me. Something must be done. It’s incredible that they’re getting away with this.
What about a president not conceding an election he lost or wantonly firing leaders of some of the most sensitive positions in the government due to a tantrum is not overly concerning?
