Opinions on possible CCs

Hi,

I'm looking for a new credit card. Currently getting 1% back w/no fx fees via BoA. I live abroad (Israel) so spending category bonuses are hit or miss (or so people on DDF report). I'm silver elite on Delta, with no significant miles housed elsewhere. I travel quite often, including twice a year to US, usually twice to Europe. Would love to get good business class deals and lounge access, as well as hotel once in a while. But looking for good value, good service, and a smooth account interface that makes things easy for me.

So far, I've really liked Chase Sapphire Preferred. I've also thought about Chase BA. If any one has opinions on these cards given my situation, or other ideas, I would very much appreciate it.

If you do a search you might find a thread helpful for this already or a better place to post this instead of making a mew thread. Ie, see Credit Card FAQ thread.

Also, the smaller bonuses are possible in israel but the higher ones are tougher.

I like Chase and mostly use the Sapphire. For Chase thats the best card bc it transfers to BA, UA, Hyatt.... No need to spend on those cards but they do offer good bonuses and have little spending requirements. Maybe try for amex SPG but those are not good for everyday spending bc of foreign exchange fee.

Nope. OP took it correctly. OP didnt blow up or anything and understood that there has to be control and order even on an online forum
