The problem is most here look at things in a vacuum. Look at history and tell me who was the worst terrorist. There have been thousands of terrorist acts over time that were not committed by Muslims. Now someone will twist this into I am defending Muslims instead of facing the facts.
Who cares about what happened in history? Germans and Japanese used to be terrible, now they are not. Russians used to commit pogroms, now they don't. Christians used to burn people at the stake, now they don't. The list goes on... (Muslims used to savagely murder people too, but I won't even get into that)
What matters is terrorism in the current generation. Terrorism today is almost exclusively Islamic, and it's completely unprecedented.
The control room for all Islamic terror are Arab countries in the Middle East. The funding, propaganda, recruitment, planning and training all happens there. The argument of "well this guy was born in France" is foolish. His
motivation came from the control room.
As I see it, relative to WWII tactics, we are going very light on them. We are not carpet-bombing their cities nor are we dropping nukes. The
least we can do is impose a complete ban on immigration from Islamic countries. (Curiously, what did German civilians do wrong that we carpet bombed Berlin and killed them by the thousands? What did Japanese civilians do wrong that we nuked them?)
But this won't happen, because it's more comfortable to just keep our heads buried in the sand...
