Then you likely have steam heat. You can't hook up a humidifier to it. But you can hang your wet laundry nearby (or purposely wet towels or tshirts) and it also moistens the room.
Lol, my father used to say just put a pan of water on the radiator, but your version is much more entertaining.

I've had 2 Crane Drops -
link (the first one broke when my son pulled it off a desk) that I'm happy with. Fairly bare-bones, but works well. It's regularly priced around $35 on Amazon, and I've seen it for less (maybe $25) every once in a while on other sites.
I also had a really nice Pure Guardian model that had all sorts of bells and whistles (much larger tank, output control, temp control, silver cleaning tech, etc.). It was a refurb from Woot and kept leaking, so I had to return it.
