But wouldn't more people using their cards irresponsibly trigger more FR's and therefore increase the potential for drastic measures taken by CC companies?

Or you can go all out and say that maybe since all these FR's are being triggered, something is wrong with the system and they will stop FR's

IMO the variable reload cards will get phased out and the max will be $200 for a fee high enough to make if not worthwhile ($6.95) like some have already done.

 The only opportunity then will be in bonus categories for high value points (eg. UR)

I have been able to find VR's so haven't really been going after the GC's.
May start looking into this when i get my Ink cards for the 5x spend.
