Yes, will need to buyout myself - which means paying tax & waiting for title which means price can go down & only then would I be able to sell to them. If a Honda dealership buys it out they don’t pay tax… & if I can find one that would pay me close to market value that’s the home run
I'm pretty sure you can sell to Rodo without buying it out

Not all banks allow 3rd party buyouts

Anyone have reviews on Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and know of any good deals around? Unless I'm mistaken, seems to be the only minivan that qualifies for the $7500 tax credit, as it's the only minivan that's a plug-in-hybrid as far as I can tell

yes I don't think they are allowed to let you off the lot without proof of insurance

I feel bad for the "buy don't lease" people who bought an EV before tesla slashed their prices.

leasing is tough now, but at least you don't have to worry about resale and depreciation.

Leasing isn't any better, you're guaranteed to have the depreciation.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Closing out the books with some quick and dirty math on this one.

Spent ~$40K plus $720 for an 84 month Hondacare warranty. Only did routine maintenance and had a couple Hondacare claims to break even on that.

Kept the car for 111 months, which means it was free for the past 46 months after the calculated breakeven point above, ignoring the car's remaining value.

Carvana says they will pay me $19,715 for it, so ignoring the time value of money, means the car actually cost about $21,000 including tax and warranty. That imputes a breakeven point of 34 months, which would mean it was free for the past 77 months.

You can quibble with the math (feel free to point out any errors @farmbochur), but this is just a no-brainer folks. Just last Shabbos I argued with someone who said they couldn't afford to buy a car, which is why they lease a new Odyssey every 2 or 3 years.  ::)
Carvana shows purchase in progress with the last listed asking price at $25,990, down from $28,990 original asking price.
Guess they know what they're doing :)

I know this is not recent, but $720 for an 84 month Hondacare warranty maybe went up by now. I doubt by more then a few hundred.

Really wonder by how much I got gypped on my Toyota warranty
Anyone know the actual price or where to look it up?

Very detailed:)
Is there an option like Hyannis Honda care for Toyota? If yes, is it worth canceling the warranty I purchased from dealer and rebuy it for cheaper or once you cancel it you loose it?

I canceled a ToyotaCare warranty on a vehicle financed with Bank of America through Toyota Financial Services. The loan was fully paid up and the overpayment was supposed to be sent to me by BoA. ToyotaCare claims they sent a check to BoA and BoA claims they never got anything from them. What recourse do I have?

"so I bought a 7 year warranty from Hyannis"
Why didn't you buy 8 yrs or better yet 10 yrs warranty, especially if that's when problems come up and if you're selling earlier it just adds value to the vehicle?

Toyota offers 10 year warranty..

Because it was an extra $440 for 1 year?

We didn't sell it early last time.

I got ripped by my dealer for $3000 on a 10 year plan. A kind person made sure that I cancel it and showed me how to get it for half price....
