At this point it’s pretty clear that those of us (myself included) who thought it unlikely there would be a second wave in Lakewood are seeing what can reasonably be called (at least to some degree) a second wave. What started with chasunas, bungalow colonies and camps has progressed to some community spread. While it is hardly likely that it will be anything like March, there are some hospitalizations, and we need to at least be cognizant of the possibility of it making its way to the more vulnerable populations who would have more adverse outcomes. There is significant risk of government interference in Lakewood going forward and that’s something that needs to be considered as well.
