Or will these threads now start to be filled with unpaid advertising from all the wonderful great orginisations doing great work in jewish comunities accross the world? bec there are hundreds no thousands of orginisations who would be happy for such exposure!
(and you happen to be raising for an org that has a massive advertising budget! with full page ads in every charedi newspaper for weeks at a time)

Oh BTW, I currently get services from Ezer Mitzion! and was asked to help raise money as hakaras hotov to the org... and chose NOT to post it here.

So what bothers you? Abroad there is not much knowledge about the fundraiser, so I chose to raise awareness here

This is a community - "Kehila".
We have expected and acceptable behaviors here.
YOU are a tourist, you dont spend time here, you dont contribute here, you are a guest.
It won't bother you if tommorow someone else drops in for a week and starts advertizing for the israeli campaign of ichud hatzala, the next week modos tzanz, the next day MADA, the next day yad elizer, and peilim, and ezras achim, and chaim vchessed, and bayit cham, and mosdos kever rochel, and siach sod, and all the kupot shcunot, and every cheder al taharas hakodesh, and even the ones that aren't, and every kehilla trying to build a shul....in whatever and whichever threads they want - EIN L'DAVAR SOF.
All great orgs but not within the rules and acceptable behaviours on the site.

For your question, I volunteer free of charge. There is an incentive of tracking and prizes but that's really not what makes you post and work hard, it's a joke why you have to invest and be humiliated for it

What makes me invest for this organization for 5 years is what they gave and gave to my family in a time of crisis and suffering! May you never need it, peace be upon you

The are a great org that does amaizing work in many diverse fields of the israeli medical and social system.

My wife is currently in an EM funded support group for berieved mothers.
About five years ago, we cared for a family of 9 children who's parents had traveled with a tenth child to get treatments in the US, and EM provided a great amount of support.
About ten years ago, I donated bone marrow through EM in EY and Rav Cholak (the founder of EM) spent time answering my Ravs questions (the shayla was if to do it, and if to travel to the US to do it) - EM has the largest BM registry of Jews in the world.

(Full disclosure - I have cousins who are grandchildren of Rav Cholak - we do not share last names so the only case where it made a difference was my aunt gave my rav his personal number)
