As per a Different Ship Captian in the area when the crash occured the ship had lost power 2-3 min before the crash
Seems at this point to be Mechanical

No injuries among ship crew, company says
Shipping company Synergy Marine Group confirms that its Singapore-flagged container ship ‘Dali’ has collided with a pillar of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.

“Whilst the exact cause of the incident is yet to be determined, the ‘Dali’ has now mobilised its Qualified Individual Incident response service,” it says.

All crew members, including the two pilots who were aboard, have been accounted for and there are no reports of any injuries,

Talking about how fast the boat was going, how it was an act of terror,  Biden's policies caused it, Trumps policies caused it, COVID caused it, the mayor of Baltimore caused it, and much more garbage. Been a busy day in Baltimore and elsewhere but if you look hard enough, you will find all of the Yeshiva world, coffee room, vinnews, lakewoodpoop, etc experts.

It was a ship, not an iceberg.

But melting icebergs mean that the oceans and rivers have a raised water level which means the ship was floating higher than it used to be and if the crew didn't know about it then maybe they didn't realize that the cargo was going to hit the bridge.
