What will they do with him next year if they think they have a great 3rd basemen ready for prime time?
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Seriously, they make the Mets look like big spendersWhich is ridiculous. I totally get wanting to get under the luxury tax (kind of), but not wanting 8.5 on the books next year? Come on. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUQ_FZtUQAAfCgM.jpg:large Yankees down near the bottom. It's embaressing
You are right they can easily trade that contract but part of this must also be about letting the young guys play this year. Additionally, could be Yanks are still in play for Darvish and didn’t want to commit to frazier yet.
This is not a charity organization or an organization that is rebuilding. They are championship contenders.Unless you're right about Darvish, this is just money grubbing
You're upset about Frazier? Todd Frazier?
I'm upset that they are pinching pennies and haven't signed a major league infielder despite having two spots open and being championship contenders. They dumped an all star's salary (Castro). This is not The Boss's Yankees.
Free agency this year is completely bonkers. No one is getting signed. Pretty sure Cashman has a plan. It's not like they turned down Stanton because he cost too much or anything.
Huge trade for the Yankees. What say you now, @Ergel?

Sounds like another ridiculous ESPN stat.
Also, after about half the seats get sold the remainder are mostly in the nosebleed seats and most ppl nowadays prefer to watch on their big screen than go sit up high. High TV ratings should be part of the studies
