Sounds lime you skipped that part of my drasha! Tried and proven not effective.

Like most drashas I only pay half attention

I meant piping bag to use instead of refilling your tube.

Another idea is to crazy glue the bottle shut perhaps. I see someone suggested refillable tubes, I use those... Would have to find the link...

I also didn't read the drasha so carefully, but why don't you just use the tub? Put on a disposable glove, ime that is the easiest way to apply anyway.

or compromise by using the tub at home and the (more expensive) tubes when traveling

I think I'll be getting a yomtov gift with a box full of desitin if I go that route. Don't think my AC will let that go using a piping bag. And storing it in the baby's room. But good thought though.

I also didn't read the drasha so carefully, but why don't you just use the tub? Put on a disposable glove, ime that is the easiest way to apply anyway.
I use my finger. And then with a wipe I clean it. Not the issue. Just so much comes out when I go that route and before I have a chance to finish closing the diaper my little one is already playing with the tub and his hands dipped inside. I need to have a diaper changed within 30-40 seconds. That's about how long the little guy has patience to wait to get his diaper changed. Diaper cream in a tube works best and mess free.

Found this crimper. Think I'll invest in it, and I'll use it and eventually pass it down to the grandkids!

Sells for like $140

And I saw others change their kids diaper and not bother to wipe clean after a wet diaper which I found interesting...

Guilty as charged.
Also my wife can clean a dirty one using max 2 wipes (usually just one... unless its a whopper and just gets dumped in the shower)
Oh and tubes of destitin last years... just use it if we notice the slightest redness)
and I can't remember the last real diaper rash we had (oh, yeh, it was when our almost 3yr old put her tights on backwards)

just out of curiosity, why cream after every change? my kids hardly ever get a rash and in the event they do i use desitin to clear it up but never as a preventative

Because he is using Target diapers.  They are notorious for causing diaper rashes.

My advice is to try another brand of diapers.  You may have to pay for diapers (gasp!) but you will eliminate the cost of diaper rash cream.  BTDT

I didn't even notice this. If you are having a diaper rash every single diaper change, why in the world would you be torturing your baby with those diapers that keep causing it? Change diaper brands and stop the diaper rash cream
