I was about to buy one but then checked out some of the comments/reviews on amazon. Seems like some people are reporting low quality construction. Maybe I'll pay more and stick to Anker and other reputable brands?

Yes, I saw that, but too many of the lower star ones are recent. Maybe quality went down recently?

But I have to admit, it's pretty nice looking!

I don't have this particular power bank but I bought another one that feels very cheap quality but is actually an excellent power bank.

73 verified purchases which means (in most cases, Sometimes there can be a glitch in amazon's system) reviews from buyers that didn't get it free and most of them are 5 stars
