I see with my own eyes that it took a lot of stress off my mother. And it just makes it easier I'm general for everyone else

Quick question (not directed at you). How is the situation in France? They cracked down heavily on Hamas protests after the first or second week (as opposed to the UK, and also the US). Are they seeing this kind of situation right now (as opposed to the UK and US)? They have a tinderbox there, regardless, but I haven't seen anything in the news, but it could have just been drowned out.

It is fair to say that the word pogrom has a connotation associated with casualties.

Though that’s probably not completely accurate. It’s more like when there is a mob attacking Jews completely unrestrained by local authorities.

That usually ended with casualtie.

I don’t think pogrom is at all accurate for 10/07. It was a foreign infiltration, not a local population.

Pogrom was not always a massacre. It was a violent mob, usually riled up by someone or something, (like going to church on Sundays and being fed stuff about Jews) who then went and targeted Jews with approval or a blind eye from the authorities.

Oct 7th was worse than a pogrom, it was a planned operation, but it definitely had the pogrom element with many non-hamas civilians joining the mob and committing atrocities.

The protests turning into violent mobs that target Jews are pogrom-like. I get not thinking it rises to the level of pogrom because they haven't been as violent as what happened in kfar azah, but when the authorities adopt that attitude it will lead to someone getting killed.

These protests have all the makings of a pogrom, let's ensure the police step in so it remains an exaggeration.
