Ok, can't help with that vague answer, Google Apple pay, you will see that many stores have blocked nfc charging, I was successful at Duane reade and reports of rite aid still working

NFC will work through a case, but will not work through metal. I have a small metal plate in my case (to attach to my magnetic car holder) so i had to remove my case to pay.

Am looking for some answers as this promo expires in 2 days and want to make the most of it...

I was able to add wife/siblings chase cards to my softcard account, but softcard will only associate with 1 amex login. Is there a way to add other peoples amex cards (or my AUs) to my softcard?

Here somone speculated that you will only get 1 credit per type of card you add ie adding 2 spgs will only get you 1 credit. Can anyone confirm this?

2 other possible reasons...
Some phones (eg the galaxy s4) have the NFC antenna embedded in the battery. If you are using a 3rd party battery, make sure it supports NFC.
Also I just read, if your phone is rooted softcard wont work (there is a workaround).

You can only log in to ONE account for amex. Trying to force another login (by calling amex, serve etc) can land you losing the whole thing.

How about adding others cards to your amex login? Or adding your AUs to another device?

I know ShopRite in Brick was taking SoftCard last week, but tonight they told me they no longer allow it (as I stood there with a cart full of items wanting to use every card I own...)

Can I sign up for soft card, and add all my cards to it from a non NFC phone, then sign into my soft card account from a friends NFC phone to do the spending?

I'm now that much smarter.

I can't download the app on my phone so I'll have to do all the leg work on my friends phone.

The app is personalized for your carrier. If I'm on H20, can I use the at&t app?

The softcard account is attached to the sim card!
If you use your friends device, make sure you delete your cards.
