Pretty good. Nice hotel and nice room. And a bonus, they gave me the free diamond drink amenity even though I am only a plat.

i've stayed here before and will stay here again.

At least a half a dozen times I've been to ER with my kids, always right before or on Shabbos. This ones actually the earliest.

having grown up in a city where Hatzolah does not exist, I think people call Hatzolah for the smallest things (because they're told: anything happens, call Hatzolah). If all it is, is several stiches, why couldn't you drive to the ER yourself?

I'm not trying to downplay your situation, but I've seen people call Hatzolah for just a trip to the hospital when they could've just gone themselves.

This time because my Dr told me to.

This times not stitches. Last time-3 year old with a cut so deep I can see his skill, major head trauma and nodding off while bleeding from his head, I should just drive him to the hospital myself?

By the way, Hatzolah will tell you, if anything happens, call them. So you're saying don't bother them?

It also means I don't have to wait in the waiting room for 3 hours with a crying child. Just sayin.

I was not saying what you should or should not do. I'm just commenting on how people with Hatzolah are very quick to call them, even for something minor.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's why people call them. Even for something small like he fell and broke their bone.

People call to get checked out and see if they need to go to the hospital and get immediate treatment.

Parents especially don't want to take their kid to the hospital unnecessarily, or G-d forbid, not take them when they should have.
