Yup, just because the vaad doesnt like him doesnt mean he's any good. All his videos keep talking about how you should vote for him for 'change! Actually,  Im pretty sure those who want change should vote Raitzik/Delia!

How is reelecting Langert a vote for change??

Let's be honest. The Vaad has made it clear that endorse candidates that make promises to help the local Mosdos. They consider you and I a barcode, nothing more. They don't care if you have financial problems, b/c you are a Baal Haboss. They don't endorse who is best for the community, they endorse who is best for their Mosdos, which they view as the community. I don't think anyone should vote for Langert, b/c of his wrath, but that doesn't make the Vaad right in any way. The Vaad doesn't care about you or your support. They won't help you get your kids into their Mosdos, when they need a school. You're supporting propaganda machines.

There is one single issue called cedar bridge that you probably don't understand.
IMHO Even if the vaad had to do with it this does not disqualify their many years of dedicated work on behalf of the tzibur.
Look at busses for eg. Did the vaad lose nights of sleep to fix your bussing for BMG??

there is no point in taking from yourself in taxes to give it to yourself. It is only when you can take from others. This that it is goal to take perks from the township is the best proof that they consider the township taxpayer to be someone with forcing money out of.

what would happen if there were no township buses like in many places? The schools would hire buses like on Sunday. There is even an argument to be made that this should be done if (big if) it would lower taxes.

I don't have children in the local schools, and car-pool may not be a bad idea... but yes I still have to pay astronomical taxes!

My thoughts. Its always the schools headache (i know and am related to a number of the school owners and directors).

@CBC no-one is saying the Vaad doesn't want to do good, they do want to.
We are saying that

and now is a great example of Yeshivos buying land on cheeping and creating many student houses.. resulting in major tax increases.

There is a misconception about the vaad. They are not some shadowy organization. They are merely senior, experienced  askonim who provide direction to elected officials and the tzibur. Ackerman for the most part towed the line, langert also did. Until now that he openly rebelled, now all bets are off with him...

That's where you go wrong it's not a misconception the vaad is not here for people of Lakewood they have one agenda and it's called BMG
