How do you remember to count?

1) Make sure to only daven when you can count?
2) Have someone remind you/set a reminder?
3) Have a service remind you (phone call, email, text, whatsapp etc.)?

What do you do when you make early Shabbos? Only #2 works then...
What if you need to skip minyan one day? Only #3 helps (unless you did #2 for all nights).

Any other ideas how to remember?

When I daven Maariv, my keys go into my shirt pocket and don't come out until everyone in my family has said sefira. (This includes myself when I daven before tzeis, which I do regularly about twice a week.)

I get a Text Alert, which is great for when I daven early, it comes at night and again in the morning, so even if you push it off at night, you'll get reminded in the morning...

For Shabbos, when I daven early, or for the women who aren't in shul, we put a note on our plates that say sefira...

Before making the Beracha for Sefira, try and make sure that you know which day you're counting and/or have the correct place in the Siddur.

(This obviously applies to all Berachos, not just Sefira)
