Evolve Money – Online billpay service

Pay bills from Evolve’s list of payees, including mortgage, utilities, insurance and “store” credit card, e.g., Macy’s, Gap, Walmart (but NOT regular credit cards or store co-branded CC, like a Walmart Discover or BR Visa).

If a particular biller is not listed, you can try emailing Evolve to add it. They seem to respond quite quickly to inquiries, and they will ask you to send a copy of your bill. Some people have had success in seeing their billers added. The billers need to agree to be a part of some kind of Mastercard processing consortium, which may or may not work for you billers.

Daily dollar limits include:

$2,999.00 in payments, of which up to $999.00 may be funded by cash load packs
Individual bill pay dollar limits include:

$2,999.00 for a single bill funded by a debit card and/or credit card
$999.00 for a single bill funded by a cash load pack
Note: You cannot make more than $10,000 worth of payments per month for credit, debit, and cash load packs.

Monthly payment limits include:

4 payments per month per biller account number using a credit or debit card within the dollar limits listed above.
Unlimited number of payments per month per biller account number using a cash load pack within the dollar limits listed above.

Check with your bank whether they accept partial payments and payments made over a couple of days. (Paying over weekend might arrive on same day.) You will also want to be in touch with your bank the first month you do this to make sure that the payments don't automatically apply to principal, or that your automatic payment (if you have one) doesn't ALSO get taken out. Don't assume that your bank will handle everything perfectly without your involvement, and - especially the first month - make sure you have all payments in with a few days to spare at least so that they can sort it out without also having to worry that the payment will be late.

You can pay bills for no fee with REloadIt packs that can be purchased, Evolve Money credits and with a debit card from "major banks". There are reports that US Bank issued MGCs work fee free as well. Each card counts as one payment toward the four payment limit.

For a 3% fee you can pay with a Visa, MC and Discover CCs.

In the past there was a glitch and certain CCs did work. But after this was publicized, the glitch was closed.

How
Sign up.
Add new bill.
Then pay with a ReLoadit packs, debit, prepaid(?) or Gift Card(?).

The account number entered is not recognized. Please ensure that you are entering all digits shown on your statement. (e683)

What am I doing wrong?

Seems to be allowing all my payees for the second time this month. Will I get cancelled transactions?

You can set up a payment now for next month

I tried making a payment for next month, but still got the error msg that I have reached monthly payments for that payee. How are you guys doing it?

Nevermind, figured it out. Had to set pay date for 3/4, so that the charge date is 3/2. I was setting pay date for 3/1 before.

Not allowing me to do that either. Any ideas why?

Got it. Just went further out on the calendar. Whats stopping me from setting it up every month as far as the eye can see?

Any word on Evolve being charged as a cash advance? I used my Citi TY Pref (because of promo 3x on everything), forgetting that Citi is charges CA on things like AMEX GC. I should've used Ink. I do know that back when Evolve allowed CC as debit last year, Citi cards were NOT charged as CA. Today, I listed my Citi card as a CC rather than debit card. When I log on to my Citi, it just shows a pending charge for Evolve as "business transaction" but says nothing about CA. My Citi account screen doesn't tell me what my CA limit is and I don't really want to call and draw attention to this. How do I find out what my CA limit is and if Evolve is charged as CA?

Set my Citi AA Exec CA to $0 and charge went through  no issue.

I schedules a lease payment for 3/9 and it did not include the 3% fee. Is it possible that once they charge it on 3/9 they can tack on the 3%?

I dont think they can do that. The charge is approved now by you. Was wondering the same thing but im fairly confident it wont be charged. I set up 10 $999 payments for next month.

Can anyone confirm if a US Bank Visa will go through as a purchase and not a cash advance.

I just added my Amex PRG.  They told me It would incur a 3% fee.  My previously stored Ink Bold worked fine - no fee.

CC is only for Discover, Visa and MC. Not Amex. I've been using Citi AA as Debit card.
