Now I have a question - we do have 2 AMEX Gift cards from Fedex promotion. I am a bit scared since it is written on Fedex site that they should be used this Saturday. Is it true? Should I use them today or funds don't expire?

Funds don't expire. It's against the law. Cards however can expire.

when you log into the amex site and click on the recent charges, there will be a link on top to view pending charges. It will appear there instantly in most cases

Last year Malka just gave me the terminal at the 2nd register and let me swipe away.  Then she added up the receipts and gave me the credit on my bill.

. sooner or later theres gonna be a line at that register for Amex users!

i see u can also get it on mostlymusic.com and i dont know how AU's work but if is it all on one statement? bec. it says on their website that Amex $25 credit can be used for 1 card per statement.

I called the store and they told me it does count!  I wish I knew why they think it's only one card per statement!

Funds don't expire. It's against the law. Cards however can expire.

Expiration date is 10/20. So, in other words, I don't need to use these Fedex cards today, right? As far as I understand, they (Fedex) suggest to use their gift cards today, but this is not mandatory. But, their e-mail was scary:

You can try this by emailing Elan at the email address below. He may be swamped or may not be accepting any more orders. He responds to emails pretty quickly...

This may help some other people:
I found a place that sells gift certificates to kosher restaurants at a discount, is a small business, and accepts amex: Great Kosher Restaurants

You can look on http://www.koshercerts.com for a list of which restaurants they sell GC's to. I know people who have bought from them and they mail you the same gift certificate the restaurant itself would sell you. The bottom of that link says that the restaurants give them these certificates as payment for advertising for them. They offer a significant discount on many restaurants. As the form says, you need to pay a one-time $5.00 membership fee (one fee per household) which lasts 12 months.

I emailed the guy in charge elan@greatkosherrestaurants.com and he said he would be charging the cards on Saturday night.
I happen to have 17-18 cards and he told me he is charged fees for the credit card processing and would charge $25 to each card if i paid an additional $1.00 per card (he said its only $1.00 extra per card if you are charging 4 or more cards)

All in all, i am paying $27 out of pocket and getting $500 worth of gift certificates. Had i taken my cards to the restaurant itself, i would pay nothing out of pocket, but would only get $425.00 worth. Seems like a $48 net gain to me. Am i missing something?
