If you earn 5% back on everything, would this concept work?

Buy 5 $200 visa's (6.95) fee. =1034.75.
5% back = 51.73
Total profit = 16.98 and 5,174 points (assuming using a chase ink card)

Granted the 5% back is only for staples credit but if you have items you need to buy in staples anyway the 5% back is as good as cash.

Gotcha....I guess "everything" isnt really "everything".  Oh well!

Sometimes the t/c are not always correct. Might be worth a try?
