I would say so. Compared to Manhattan pricing for sure.. Not much overhead involved compared to a sit down restaurant..

S'ok that was months ago.

He seemed to need a good deal of business help, but what do I know. I just hope he stays open as he makes amazing food.

First business idea I'd give him is to open a restaurant atleast 16 times the existing size.

That was one of the 10 ideas I gave him.
Real waiter service also keeps the crowd moving. He had people hogging tables for hours when I was there. Plus they're cheap, mostly just tips anyway!

he can open such a place anywhere out of the area (bigger place-cheaper rent) & he'll be busy.. people come from all over anyways...
also he's got to figure out a way to secure a beer license, food joints make a big profit off drinks.

Expanding and not running out of ribs should be his first, and most pressing priorities.

The former kind of makes the waiter suggestion moot; restaurants with enough space don't mind, or even encourage diners to spend more time. More time = more orders.

All true and should both be priorities.
But given current space constraints, I'd want to have a lot more table turnover. And that needs pushy waiters. We waited a while for people to leisurely chat away the night without ordering more food while hogging every table.

Basically. Even when life changes, food options don't. When a restaurant works, it works.
