Why were the flight attendents threatening her? That seems to indicate that they were forcing her to move....

I would assume it was because she was creating a commotion. This should be explained in the posted responses to her tweets, or else her claims seem more credible.

I pointed this out right away. And I disagree. I think it shows a hole in her own version. She doesn’t explain why the stewardesses got involved in the first place which they wouldn’t do if everyone was behaving politely and simply requesting and declining. She doesn’t complain he was being loud or belligerent or even went to go get help. It’s obvious from her own version that she was the one freaking out loudly. She forgot to deny that and invent the reason for their involvement

By the way, this should go without saying, but you’re allowed to ask someone politely to switch a seat, even for religious reasons. Simply asking politely isn’t discrimination. There shouldn’t even be a story here unless he was forcing or threatening her. I don’t understand why this was a thing to begin with and no one pushed back on her on that. Clearly a whole cadre of people just wanted it to be true so badly

Why are you so intent that American partisan pundits cover the story? They have no impact in the slightest on the people this story affects.

Exactly. Which is why I don't really understand Dan and others making a big deal of he isn't chareidi or he is, he just wanted his son to sit near his friend, etc. That's missing the point IMHO. He could have had long payos and wearing the full garb, make no difference. Anyone can ask anyone else if they would be willing to switch seats for any reason. She decided to blow up about it, that's on her. Everything else is irrelevant.

Harder case to make because many view the very request as offensive. No reason to go there when it’s a slam dunk.

1. The Israeli will not be swayed by any article. They already made up in their heads who is was correct in this situation. That being said, it is important to write up in Hebrew for those few who are looking for the truth.
2. We are being more scrutinized by every story like this that goes public. Unless something bad g-d forbid happens to a religious person, the blogs will continue to put us down, call us out and be nasty. The only way is to get someone who is loud enough to put people into their place. Just look at all these blogs that are posting how terrible jews are. Imagine someone from a different religion would do the same the story would not exist. As long a Religious Jew is part of any story the media needs to rip them apart.
