Doesn't seem like anyone else got it.
Plus, a rep told me it would come as a check in the mail.

Makes zero sense  when they give u "money"for a credit card co to send a check ( so u can spend it someplace else ?)-
after I read that i called and was told will post when statement close --that makes sense

So I called to argue for my $25 statement credit which never posted in my account. Like other people above me, the rep said he doesn't see anywhere I my account that I ever qualified for this offer, and said no such offer has ever existed. I then tried to work on my husband's account (husband was here to give permission on the phone etc) and he said last night, someone set up online access on his account last night and was looking on the account! Not sure what is going on b/c neither of us did this! And he refuses to credit extra miles to my account and keeps putting me on hold to do more "research."

Not sure I'm interested in hanging up and trying again, based on everyone else's experiences.

Spent 0.50 statement closed with 0.50 refund, perhaps if I would have spent 25+ the full credit wouldve posted

The bolded portion is likely the cause of no credit more than the lack of a $25+ charge, which isn't required anywhere AFAIK.

Interesting that they clearly offered it yet the reps claim to know nothing.

Just spoke to Barclay's. They said any Barclay's card quality for the $25 paperless statements credit. No need to register.
But I sent a secure message. On the us air card they confirmed that I will get it. And on the arrival they said that they don't see it.  But I enrolled anyway. I can always go back to regular statements

Hardly the point of them offering you $25.

And what exactly is the point of Chase giving you 45K on the Sapphire? So you could spend, close and churn?
In other words: What does THEIR point have to do with US?

What I meant to say. If I don't get the credit then I will switch back.

For all I care, get the credit and switch back.
(Not that I understand why anyone need paper statements)

AJK had a problem with that.

Based on the miles that he has . I don't think he has a issue doing that.

Chase gives a signup bonus as an incentive to use their card, which I do.

Signing up for a card is not a life-time contract barring me from ever cancelling the card.

However, signing up for e-statements with the intention of immediately switching back crosses the line, IMO.

AJK had a problem with that.

You've made at least three unfounded assumptions:

1) Because I have miles, I must be unethical.
2) Because I have miles, I must be a churner.
3) Because I travel somewhat often, I must have loads of miles.

Pure conjecture, and somewhat offensive, if I don't say.

Oh please. Chase gives 70K for an Ink so that they could get your precious 5K spend and cancel right away? They hope you'll use the card for a very long time. As most card holders do.
Why is signing up for a card with intent to churn different than signing up for e-statements with intent to revert to paper?

Maybe it's because you won't cross the line for $25, but for 70K UR, that's something else.

Dear Mr AJK. I apologize if my post was offensive towards you.
I hope you forgive me.
I hope to meet you one day in person and maybe on one of the beaches of the world.
