installing hebrew on android

I'm looking to install hebrew on my old android device its a motorola milestone and the only way after searching was by rooting the phone and as I'm clueless on these technical issues I would like to know if there is anyone out here who could explain how and what I need to do or a link to some site etc or some store who would be able to do it

Most android devices come with hebrew supported, you just need a Hebrew keyboard to type heb characters, which android system does it currently have on it?

this is the android milestone when ever I want to read something in hebrew it comes up empty squares

thanks but that doesn't show up because my android doesn't support hebrew from what I have read I need to root the phone and I have no idea how to do it

I searched through the forums and didn't see anybody asking this. I figured it's slightly on topic in this thread. Does anyone know how to get hebrew support on the HP Touchpad?
