Lag Baomer in Meron 2022

Very vague letter. What does "לארגן הסעות ליראי ה׳ אל עבר הרי הגליל.... באופן כשר ומועיל"? seems more like advocating NOT to go to Meron so not to conform to their system or to recognize their power over it etc. I've heard that Toldos Aron actually do the fire/chalakas somewhere else close to Meron.

The Ch"S went as far as to say that this whole making Lag B'omer as a Y"T, as well as prioritizing Meron and Tzefas over Yerushalayim was the reason for the 1837 earthquake in Tzefas. Right, but he (and all others from his generation, even the Rebbes famous for their Kabbalah) would be very opposed to what we see today, how priorities are totally out of order.

Not saying anything.  Only thing said so far was Kahana saying that everything is going perfectly as planned. Maybe all here that defended the plan and looked down upon those that raised issues with it will see how dead wrong they were.

Buses being stopped in fields outside Meron for 3+ hours waiting for them to be let in, no bathrooms, food, water. There are 70+yr old ppl there.

That's not what anyone here said. We said that the reaction some are having is reckless and irresponsible. The government has been equally reckless and irresponsible making it even worse since they're supposed to be the responsible party

How many people (peak/avg) were estimated to be on the mountain last year on Lag Baomer?
