I lost a foreign Amex card a while ago so I canceled it and since I needed the card that day I went to their office to pick up a temporary card, a few days later I got my new card which I used since than.
As far as I remember, when I spoke to the representatives they told me that when I start using my new CC, the old one will be automatically canceled, however I just got a charge from a certain agency that only had the temporary card.
Is it normal? Can I -in theory- fight the charge because it was a canceled card?
