Hopefully I can help with this one. I've had the galaxy nexus as my personal phone for the last 2 years and upgraded to the LG G2 during the glitch and kept my unlimited data. I also have the galaxy s4 for some time from work. I've always been a fan of the nexus / stock android, of removable batteries and sd cards.
In a perfect world, the G2 would have a removable battery and sd card slot, but the specs looked sick and I had to go for it. I must say, I have no regrets.
This phone is a beast. It is fast and has a looong battery life. My nexus was always down to 20% at the end of the work day. My G2 is typically at 60%, and rarely ever below 40% before I put it on my Tylt Vu wireless charger at night (which i love btw).
I've also been very surprised by how much I like the stock ROM from LG on this device. I did root the phone, am using Nova Launcher, changed the DPI to fit more on the screen, and removed the carrier check for the hotspot, but on the stock ROM.
Some features I really like on this rom include: knock knock to turn the display on or off (very convenient), when you get a call or text while using the phone (watching full screen video, etc) a little pop-up comes up noting the call or text without interpreting your activity allowing you to easily decline it, or answer/respond.
All in all, loving this phone.
