Months ago I signed up a bunch of different cards for the Extended Payment Option to earn 5,000 points. I had to close one of the cards before the points ever posted.

I just received a check in the mail from AMEX stating

We are enclosing a check for you that represents reimbursement for the Membership Rewards welcome bonus you should have received with your enrollment in the Extended Payment Option. Due to a technical issue, we were unable to credit the points to your account prior to the cancellation of your Card. We apologize for any inconvenience.

! Gotta love AMEX

Anyone else receive a fun surprise in their mail today?

I just tried the link for the 10,000 point offer and it lets me sign up my Zync card, I also have a Plat.

Does that mean I'll get the 10k?

I logged in yesterday to find the offer for 10k splashed across the main page.

It doesn't let me sign up my Plat, but it lets me sign up my Zync for the 10k offer

So here's hoping to an extra 10k MR I guess

It means if you don't you can send an SM and eventually get it.

could u post the link please?
is your zink/platinum a personal or business charge card?
officially i think the 10k is for amex open cards which are business cards.

I'm already signed up for the EPO but i tried to follow the link anyway to see if i'll get it but it told me i'm already signed up.
I sent a SM to have them credit me the points, i'll have to wait and see.

I got the same screen. All we can do is hope for the best, and fight for the 10k if they don't give it to us.
