I booked 2 adults and 1 lap infant on cheaptickets.com but the lap infant didn't appear. I'm trying to get cheaptickets to work with el al to add him. Are they going to charge me full fuel charges for the infant? Is there any way to avoid that?

go on the elal website and put your record locator there, under the names section, expand the first adult and you should see two names, the adult's and the infant's. Anyways even if you did not book the in-lap child... it will be between $100-$150 IME if you book over the phone

Please correct me if I'm wrong: If the infant is not there, the only way to add him is to call? And then there's no way to avoid the charge?

well did u or didnt u pay for the infant on cheaptickets? if u did and it just does not appear where i told u on the elal website then it might just be that the system did not update or sometimes i have seen IME where the infant's name does not appear anywhere online (except when calling over the phone) - If u bought it on cheaptickets i dont see any reasons why it would not be on the elal reservation. If u actually did not pay for the infant on cheaptickets then u will have to call elal or cheaptickets and ask them to add a child to one of the adult's ticket and pay for the fee i mentioned above...

When I booked I selected the lap infant. I entered in the infant's details just like I did for the adults. However, the charge was only for the two adults - there was no infant charge. In the cheaptickets confirmation and in the El Al reservation system there is no record of the infant. I just want to make sure that I won't have to pay MORE for adding the infant now, than I would have paid had it gone through when I originally booked. If I would have paid between $100-150 either way, then I'll just call now and add over the phone. Is that the case? Or will I be charged more?

I booked yesterday 2 tickets for Feb, but I can't fly those dates, I just called Expedia and I can still change to March for the same price with a penalty of $170 per passenger.

When I spoke to Expedia, they told me the cost to change dates is $170 PLUS the price difference in flights. 3 separate reps told me the same thing. If anyone hears differently, please enlighten us!

So go HERE and put in the locator and info from the elal part of flight and it will pull up your full itin.
