Kevarim
Jewish cemetery near the Old Powazki. Established in 1809, it is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the world. Spread over an area of nearly 44,000 square feet (3160 square meters), the cemetery was left largely intact by the Nazis and includes the graves and tombs of a quarter of a million people, including the great Rabbanim of Warsaw as well as many secular giants in literature and the arts.

The Jewish Ghetto
The infamous Warsaw Ghetto, the scene of the only organized uprising.
On the left side of the Praga River, where the Ghetto used to be, you can visit several monuments commemorating the Jews of Warsaw, including the Monument over the Ghetto Heroes at Zamenhof Square, and Umschlagplatz, a memorial raised at the very spot where Warsaw Jews were gathered in 1943, loaded on cattle wagons and transported to the death camp at Treblinka. It is still possible to see how Jews lived in Warsaw ulica Prozna, a street left largely intact from before the Holocaust.

Sounds great! I've found most tip only walking tours in Europe to be pretty good.
Did you visit Auschwitz? I'm going in September and considering hiring a driver/guide.
I went there many times in the past, not this time.

Ever go with the official guides? I'm thinking about booking the 6 hour official museum tour.

Hertz won’t rent out without international license.
Others will, Though you might get fined if stopped by police.

I don't think you can fly to PL now. You need to fly to neighboring country and enter by land. Where 10 day quarantine is not enforced.

Couple of dollars here and there, less than what you pay in NY/NJ.
You can pay at the toll booths with credit card. It was easy, no issues.
I don't know about the car rentals.

See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highways_in_Poland#Tolled_sections

You pay by downloading app on phone  - https://autopay.pl/eng - or e-ticket: https://etoll.gov.pl/en/light-vehicles/e-ticket/about-e-ticket/

Some sections do not support electronic and have toll booths. Fines for evading toll is 500 PLN - which is around $123.
