Hi. Im currently looking for the best price and best service for home phone and internet in brooklyn. Does anyone have any idea who gives the best rates and provides the best service? Thanks in advance

Verizon gave me a discount since its my first time signing up with them. The price is locked in for 3 yrs

i mean is 54 for optimum a promotion. Because they usually charge 60 just for internet.

Just got a promotional quote from optimum, 57 total for phone and internet for 6 months, then it goes up to 60 for another year, then 100 after that. But optimum has much quicker internet speeds

Then after the year is up, call their retention department and ask for an additional year on the promotional pricing.

If you are "low income" you can get Lifeline Service from Xchange Telecom (a heimishe company). They also offer internet depending on where in Brooklyn you are located. PM me for details.

Anyone get a good promo or retention deal lately? Had a double play promo - phone and internet - rate of $59.95 for 12 months and just got my first bill outside of the promo which raised it to $100 per month. When I called Optimum two agents in retention told me this is the best they could do at this time for just the two services.

Called Verizon and they offered me $70 for up to three years. Would rather stay with Optimum though. Anyone have any luck lately?
