What's the quickest way to insure charge posted to CC?

I signed up for a credit card (US Bank FlexPerks) back on Aug 13 which had a promotion of spend $2,500 in 5 months and get $x.  Unfortunately, I forgot about it, and now have to spend $1,000 in 4 days.
I can do that  :-)
However the amount has to be POSTED to the account by Jan 13- i.e. in a few days.

What's the best way for me to ensure that I qualify for this?

Most charges go from temp to posting in 2-3 days.

Just so I know - If I make a balance transfer to pay off another CC - how soon does that get posted?
Also- If I use the Amazon pmts method mentioned - how long do they take to post that charge?
