I get why you voted for him. I get while you're (naively, IMHO) hopeful that he'll drain the swamp. I get why you're thrilled Hillary lost.

Some here are hopeful he may make a good President.  Others claim that he has knowingly pandered to hate groups, and that that makes those that are hopeful foolish.  Those that are hopeful are defending him against that particular claim.

He literally admits to sexual assault in that video (he is 50 - he's not a teenager bragging about his conquests.) Then a dozen or so women come forward saying he assaulted them in exactly the way he described, and we shouldn't believe them?

He also said their stories can't be true because they weren't attractive enough to be abused.

There are more. Many more.

This guy is one bad hombre. He is deplorable. And it is sickening that people who pride themselves on morals are downplaying his disgusting rhetoric and behavior, instead of saying sadly, "what choice did we have?"

I seem to recall him speaking of a case where a minor had sex with an adult (a teacher ) I believe and him commenting something to the sort of that the kid probably enjoyed himself and brushing it off.


Most of these cases are not the media trying to persuade us one way or the other but just he himself speaking not even trying to hide his true colors.

But the election is over, nobody is convincing anybody of anything at this point. I'll judge his presidency from this day forward, but it won't make me forget the past.

First, listen to their stories. They're describing indecent conduct, but not assault. Second, there's a very compelling reason for them not to be believed. They only spoke about it in the month leading up to the election. Not before, not after.
