Very easy driving and parking, significantly better than Israel or NYC.
Beware of speed cameras.

Very overrated. I had no issues driving, the signs are similar to what you see in Israel. Except instead of Hebrew/English you'll have Arabic/English.

Hardest part of driving there is paying attention to the road while looking out for lowest license plate numbers.

Quote from the wiki -Looking Jewish UPDATE: Dubai Police said that it was prohibited to wear a Yarmulka or other Jewish items uncovered in public places.

Is this still true?

It looks like https://www.worldjewishtravel.org/destinations/dubai/ has but you have to sign up for emails to see it.

The Ami interviewed Bruce Gurfein this week who’s a member of the Jewish community in Dubai. He mentioned that in addition to the 6 restaurants currently opened there’s another 3 opening with in the next couple of weeks.

I have heard from a good source that a top of the line restaurant from NYC is planning on opening up a location in DXB. Is there really such a demand for kosher food there that it justifies having 9-10 restaurants?

I'm guessing this is one of them...

Anyone have any ideas on how to get into the Burj Al arab without paying for a reservation at one of the restaurants?

Trying to go up for a view and not just the ground floor...

Anyone have any tips?
Thanks

Have a trip scheduled for February but wife is very nervous now with everything going on. For those there now do you feel unsafe at all or is it just business as usual?

Same. Have a trip planned for November! I feel quite uncomfortable going ahead with it, wondering what the consensus is on DDF?
Interested to hear you opinions/advice.
