I don’t care what any of them do, although I prefer the driver keep his eyes on the road & not on the rear-view mirror.
I could totally understand the ones that choose to not enforce it. Why risk getting assaulted ?

They enforce seatbelts and luggage under the seat. This is just another rule.
Who do you want to enforce it?

I have no issues wearing masks whenever it makes anyone feel more comfortable. They do not bother me.
I personally have issues with how the levels of strictness seem to sometimes be unreasonable and not uniform. Some will be watching hawk-eyed for someone whose mask slipped down their nose while others will allow masks to be below the nose throughout the flight. Some will create a scene if a 30 month old does not place their mask back on between each bite while others will consider the pax to be eating as long as there is food somewhere in sight.

This is simply not true. If you mean currently, there are barely any stories anymore for anyone at all, but when there were stories, they were mostly kids.

Don't know about fights but definitely many of those ejected from the flights were involving children.

Just saw a video of @bluestrings saying that he's on a flight and they announced that masks are recommended but not mandatory. Didn't say which airline.

FWIW just saw a clip from Shloimy Zionce saying he’s on a flight that the FA announced that masks are optional.
 I assume that was an international flight, but I wonder if that means it’ll happen here too sooner than later.
