ORD(Chicago) rental assistance
« on: June 10, 2011, 04:08:17 AM »
IY"H I'm flying to Chicago for a friend's wedding and staying for a day(June 28-29). I just can't find reasonable rates from the airport(even after using good corporate codes). Anyone know a cheap place(underage clemency would be a plus) close to the airport that preferably sends shuttles to the airport?

As a general rule, "cheap" places don't waive underage fees.
Do you have a USAA bank account?

enterprise in SCHILLER PARK, IL is very close to the airport and generally good prices w/ chabad corporate (over 21). its officially a city location so no shuttle, 10-15 $ for taxi

Usually after you pick up the car just call and ask if u can return to airport instead of pickup location they usually let u do it for free so that can save u time and cab ride when returning it

+1
I once did that at SFO, where rentals are expensive and also have exorbitantly high taxes. Instead, I rented from a San Bruno local location (a five min. drive from the airport) and saved at least $200 for the 2 week rental. It was also at Enterprise.
I had to take a taxi to and from the airport ($10 each time)
